Abstract: The aim of this report, which has been commissioned by Mencap, is to summarise information that is available from nationally representative data sources on the life experiences and services used by people with learning disabilities in England. These data sources include information on service activity collected by the Department of Health and other government departments, and information that can be extracted from large scale nationally representative surveys.
